    Not sure how to calibrate it. From TheCheeseMaker.Com: Calibrating this type of thermometer is easy. Simply immerse thermometer in a glass of water overfilled with ice. Adjust the calibration nut under the dial until it reads 32-33F(0-.5c).

    I like the fact that you can calibrate this thermometer. It was off a few degrees. Works great and am happy I found it.
